Indoor air quality

Dallas pollen, dust and humidity can make the air inside your home worse than the air outside. We clean up the air your system moves and seal up the house around it, so your home stays cleaner, more comfortable and cheaper to cool.

Know the signs

Your air may need help if

Your AC moves all the air in your home through the same filter, coil and ducts, many times a day. When any of those are dirty or wrong for your home, every room feels it.

We start at the system, because that’s where most indoor air problems begin and where they’re easiest to fix.

  • Dust comes back a day or two after cleaning
  • Allergies are worse indoors than outside
  • A musty smell when the system turns on
  • The house feels sticky even when it’s cool
  • Visible mold or dirt around vents and grilles
  • Pet hair and dander everywhere
  • Drafts or daylight around exterior doors
  • Energy bills that keep climbing

Our air quality services

Air purifiers

Whole-home purifiers installed in your system clean the air in every room, not just the one with a portable unit.

UV lights

Mounted at the indoor coil to cut down mold and bacteria growth where it starts, in the damp, dark part of your system.

High-efficiency filtration

Better filters and filter cabinets that catch dust, pollen and pet dander, sized so they don’t choke airflow.

Humidity control

Dehumidifiers and system adjustments that take the sticky feel out of a Dallas summer and help keep mold away.

Duct inspection & sealing

Leaky return ducts pull attic dust and insulation into your air. We find the leaks and seal them.

Coil & drain cleaning

A dirty coil or clogged drain pan is a common source of musty smells. We clean them and fix the drainage.

The home envelope

Seal the house, not just the system

Your walls, attic, doors and windows are the envelope that holds your conditioned air in. Gaps and thin insulation let hot attic air, dust and humidity leak in, and make your AC run longer to keep up.

Blown-in attic insulation

Thin or settled insulation topped up to the right depth, so the attic heat stays out of your living space.

Weatherstripping & door sweeps

Worn seals and missing sweeps on exterior doors replaced, so you stop feeling drafts and seeing daylight.

Doors

Air sealing

Gaps around pipes, wiring, can lights, the attic hatch and window trim sealed with foam and caulk.

Leaks

Attic hatch & access doors

Insulated and weatherstripped attic hatches and access doors, one of the biggest leaks in most homes.

How a visit works

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. Diagnose

We check the filter, coil, drain, ducts, humidity, attic insulation and door seals, and find the real cause.

  2. Quote & authorize

You get options with prices in writing. Nothing starts until you approve.

  3. Do the work

Most purifiers, UV lights, filter upgrades, insulation and weatherstripping jobs are done in one visit.

  4. Test

We check airflow and the system after the install and show you the result.

Questions we hear

FAQ

How often should I change my filter?

Most homes need a new filter every 1 to 3 months. Homes with pets, allergies or construction dust may need it monthly. We’ll tell you what fits your filter and your home.

Will a better filter hurt my AC?

It can if the filter is too restrictive for your system. We match the filter to your blower and ducts, and add a larger filter cabinet when it’s needed.

How does sealing my home help the air inside?

Leaks pull in attic dust, insulation fibers, pollen and humid outside air. Sealing them keeps that out, and better insulation means your AC runs less to keep the house cool.

Can a home be sealed too tight?

A home still needs fresh air. We look at the whole house and your system together, so sealing and ventilation stay in balance.
