Rooftop units sit out in the Texas sun year-round, and nobody sees them until something stops working. Here is what we run into, and what we do about it.
Weathered rooftop unit and duct connection
An older gas pack on a commercial roof, sitting up on wood blocks, with the insulated supply and return duct running into the side of the unit. The sealant on that duct is cracking and pulling away.
How we fix itWe inspect the unit top to bottom, set it on proper supports, reseal and weatherproof the duct connection, and give you repair and replacement options in writing before anything starts.

How we fix itWe check the electrical, refrigerant charge, heat section and coils, fix what is failing, and tell you honestly whether a repair or a replacement is the better spend. We schedule around your business hours.
Dirty, damaged condenser coil
The condenser coil is caked with dirt and the fins are matted flat. The unit can’t get rid of heat, so it runs longer, uses more power and puts extra strain on the compressor.
How we fix itWe clean and rinse the coil, straighten the fins, and confirm the pressures afterward. If the coil is too far gone, we quote a coil or unit replacement and add the unit to a maintenance schedule so it doesn’t get this bad again.
